About The Job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician to join a business with clear ambition, strong values and a genuine focus on quality. About You

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide support for all IT issues, covering troubleshooting and the resolving of hardware, connection, printer and software issues, using the Helpdesk system to ensure the accuracy of service delivery progress and reporting.
  • Ensure all IT Helpdesk and support issues are dealt with promptly on a priority basis and escalated as appropriate and in line with our operating policy ensuring that all KPIs/SLAs are met.
  • Ensure that the Helpdesk system is regularly maintained so that users are kept updated on the progress of their issues in line with KPIs/SLAs.
  • Ensure effective communication with all internal and external customers including making site visits where required.
  • Assist Line Manager with management / tracking / safeguarding of IT assets by ensuring the tagging of all registered IT assets and the updating of the asset tracking system.
  • Maintain the Entra ID system across all company locations/domains.
  • Maintain specialised software repositories/accounts and ensure product knowledge is relevant.
  • Implement Multi Factor Authentication protocols and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain mobile network access for colleagues and developments.
  • Manage Office 365 deployments.
  • Set up new users and install hardware / software where required in line with the joiners, movers and leavers process.
  • Conduct New Starter IT Training and Ad-Hoc Training as and when required.
  • Implement the leaver policy to safeguard IT equipment and systems when notified of a leaver by the HR Department.
  • Assist management of communication systems and associated hardware.
  • Maintain up to date technical knowledge and participate in on‑going technical and customer service/personal effectiveness training and development.

This role will be office based with the expectation to travel to site as and when needed.
