Salary

£67,545.72 inclusive of shift allowance and contractual overtime.

Shift Pattern

3 on/3 off – 12-hour shifts – Days & Night shifts – Inclusive of all bank holidays – 42.31 hours a week.

Role Overview

Industrial Services Engineering Technician to support boiler operations, plant maintenance of steam, refrigeration, effluent, and coffee grounds handling from a proactive and reactive perspective. Permanent role reporting directly to the Industrial Services Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations and maintenance functions across the factory.
  • Carry out daily preventative maintenance tasks.
  • React to breakdowns with a sense of urgency and safety.
  • Use SAP system to capture work orders and sign off tasks.
  • Work on engineering improvement projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (NVQ Level 3 minimum, preferably with an electrical bias); HNC desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in an automated manufacturing/industrial service process.
  • Good knowledge of asset maintenance.
  • Knowledge of TPM.
  • Desirable knowledge of boiler house maintenance, operations, and industrial refrigeration plant.
