Job Description

Contract SDDC Manager, London, Hybrid, 6 Months.

We are seeking an experienced SDDC Manager to oversee and execute upgrades from VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.0.2 to 9.1 and 5.2.2 to 9.1. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ESXi/vCenter, NSX networking, and vSAN storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the upgrade process for VCF environments from version 9.0.2 to 9.1 and 5.2.2 to 9.1.
• Ensure minimal disruption and downtime during upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration.
• Monitor system performance post-upgrade and resolve any issues promptly.
• Maintain documentation of processes and configurations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter.
• Proficient in NSX networking technologies.
• Strong knowledge of vSAN storage solutions.
• Proven track record of managing and executing complex upgrade projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware certifications in relevant areas.
• Experience with previous VCF upgrades.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting.
