Role Overview
Area to be covered: Midlands & South (projects throughout the UK, ideally based centrally). The role is national with a focus on central operations.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Base salary: £65,000
- Profit‑related bonus: 3%
- Car allowance: £300–£600
- Full usual benefit package
Responsibilities
- Sell passive fire protection, fire stopping, fire door installation, and maintenance services.
- Focus on commercial, residential, education and leisure sectors.
- Target end‑users; no direct contracting to builders.
- Develop a project pipeline of approximately £2 m.
- Set and achieve turnover targets based on experience.
- Work on projects such as schools, hotels, universities, office blocks, and other similar facilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Business development experience in the fire sector (passive fire, fire doors or cladding).
- Experience selling to end‑users.
- Experience working on commercial and residential projects such as hotels and schools.
- Knowledge of industry standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Stable career background.
- Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills.

Position is for a Business Development Manager dedicated to fire protection services, reporting directly to the regional sales management.
