Support Worker Mental Health (MHSW) Blackpool, England

Salary: GBP16.81 – GBP17.93 per hour + Inclusive of holiday pay

Prestige Nursing & Care Blackpool is looking for experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our growing team supporting a service user within their own home in the FY4 area.

We endeavour to keep you working as close to home as possible, but youwill require access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence. We offer our members a variety of work patterns with service users throughout Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.

The role involves supporting a service user who suffers with mental health and behavioural issues. It will be a 24 hour care on a 2:1 basis. The shift times will be 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am.

Tasks may include:

  • Administering medication
  • Encouraging diet and fluid intake
  • Facilitating access to the community
  • Encouraging good personal hygiene, including assisting with personal care as necessary
  • Completing documentation to a high standard
