Salary: Medway NJC D2 4-11 (dependent on experience) – £17,786 – 19,874pa (£25,185 – £28,142 FTE)
Hours: 31.25 hours per week, Term time only (Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.15pm)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Fixed Term until 31/08/2027

Swingate Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are a large three‑form entry, inclusive, successful school with extensive grounds and friendly staff.

- Be passionate and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development;
- Develop strong relationships with children, staff and other stakeholders;
- Have the ability to motivate and inspire children throughout their learning journey;
- Be able to use specialist skills/training/experience to support children’s needs;
- Be committed to the school’s high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care;
- Have strong literacy and numeracy skills;
- Have a belief in inclusion, diversity and the right of each child to be successful whatever their needs, abilities and background.
