Client Description
We are seeking motivated Installation Technicians to support the installation of Vestas onshore wind turbines. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of hands‑on experience in wind turbine installation, particularly with Vestas platforms. You will work as part of a site team to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality turbine assembly and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the mechanical and electrical installation of onshore wind turbines
- Support tower, nacelle, and blade installation activities
- Perform basic commissioning tasks under supervision
- Follow technical drawings, manuals, and method statements
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with HSE standards and site procedures
- Use specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Identify and report faults, defects, or installation issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and installation records
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and other technicians
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in wind turbine installation or a similar field role
- Experience working with Vestas
- Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
- Comfortable working at height and in outdoor environments
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and stay on-site as required
