Role Summary

As a Break Team Leader, you will play a vital role in helping young people achieve positive outcomes. Your enthusiasm, leadership, and passion for supporting young people to thrive will be at the heart of everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of staff and volunteers in delivering high quality care and support to young people.• Provide one‑to‑one guidance and support to young people with complex emotional, behavioural and additional needs.• Demonstrate empathy, patience, resilience, and a calm, warm approach in all interactions.• Work collaboratively with colleagues across services to ensure the best outcomes for young people.• Maintain accurate and detailed records of care plans, progress and incidents, and ensure compliance with all safeguarding and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Hold or be willing to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months of starting. The qualification is fully funded by Break.

• Hold a valid DBS check (enhanced) – sponsorship is provided by Break.• Ability to provide full employment history for OFSTED compliance.• Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum & Nationality Act 2006 and UKVI guidelines.
