Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with priority clients through regular site visits, technology health checks and proactive performance discussions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing technology solutions and propose practical enhancements or new approaches.
  • Pilot new and innovative digital and AI solutions at site level, measuring impact and scaling successful ideas across the business.
  • Act as a bridge between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring innovation is practical, scalable and commercially impactful.
  • Own and manage product roadmaps and backlogs, translating insights into clearly prioritised requirements.
  • Work closely with Customer Technology, Retention, Development, Security and Service teams to align delivery with the strategic roadmap.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging innovation and AI opportunities to enhance service delivery, efficiency and client experience.
  • Represent the business at technology and innovation events, bringing back insights to strengthen the innovation strategy and narrative.
  • Support retention bids by linking continuous improvement and innovation to future technology propositions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally within digital, operational technology or multi‑site environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client‑facing skills, with confidence engaging both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Track record of leading pilots, managing product roadmaps and working cross‑functionally.
  • Solid experience with digital and AI‑enabled products, including an understanding of AI capabilities, limitations and ethical considerations.
  • Natural curiosity and passion for innovation, with the ability to turn bold ideas into practical, value‑driven solutions.
  • Confidence to work independently, influence others and challenge existing ways of working.
  • Willingness to spend time on site, understanding front‑line challenges and shaping solutions that genuinely work in practice.
