Every day you’ll help six amazing people-two men and four women aged from their 20s to 70s each with their own personalities, interests, and goals. Everyone has different needs, including learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, visual impairments and mental health needs, so your support will vary from minimal personal care to occasional shower or pad support. One person uses a wheelchair and a walking aid. You’ll help with medication, GP appointments, meal prep and encouraging healthy eating. Life here is full of fun: playing pool, caring for guinea pigs, going to the gym, visiting discos, enjoying Disney and Dreamworks (especially Shrek!), joining local clubs, and planning seasonal parties, from Easter egg hunts to Halloween parties. Holidays and short breaks are a big part of life too, and you may join people on trips away, helping to create memories that really matter.
