Tutors Required In Northamptonshire

Simply Education is seeking Qualified Teaching Tutors in the local area to support Secondary schools with pupils who require extra support. Tutors may be utilized for intervention, 1-to-1 support, children with needs within a school setting, and home provisions. While the majority of the work will be face-to‑face, occasional online duties may also be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualised one‑on‑one and small group tutoring to students.
• Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies.
• Tailor teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive support system.
• Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.

Job Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Ideally hold UK QTS.
• Strong management of small groups and individual sessions.
• A formal qualification such as a PGCE in Education is essential; previous classroom experience will also be considered.
