Overview
Clark Wood has been instructed on an exceptionally rare opportunity for an experienced Tax Senior Manager or Director to join one of Worcestershire’s leading tax teams. The role is based in Worcester and can be for Mixed Tax, Private Client Tax or Corporate Tax. The main purpose of the role is to lead and develop the firm’s regional tax consultancy offering while maintaining a significant existing client portfolio. Worcester is a fantastic location for commuters from all over Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Malvern, Droitwich, Gloucester, Cheltenham etc.
Responsibilities
- Provide tax enquiry work and tax advisory support on corporate transactions.
- Advise on business restructures and provide specific tax advice on a range of matters to corporate clients and High Net Worth individuals.
- Provide high level advisory & planning services to a large existing portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients focusing on SMEs, OMBs, groups, partnerships & HNWIs.
- Business Development and Networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio.
- Increase awareness & exposure of the firm’s tax services.
Qualifications
- CTA/ACA Qualified.
- Relevant experience of IHT and CGT planning, advising on residence and domicile.
- Proven track record of Business Development.
- Experience within a Senior Manager/Director level role.
