Primary Location: West Midlands – Birmingham and surrounding areas. Working from home, with one office day / week (office based in Derby)

Join our team as a Supervising Social Worker.

Anchor Foster Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Supervising Social Worker – Family Cluster Development to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to support the growth of our services in the West Midlands while developing and strengthening therapeutic family clusters that deliver positive outcomes for children.

You will play a key role in building and nurturing networks of foster parents, supporting them through a therapeutic parenting approach to provide stable, resilient, and nurturing environments. Alongside direct family support, you will contribute to the development and expansion of the service across the region, establishing strong local relationships and high-quality provision.

Working remotely with support from our Derby-based team and colleagues across Kent and Milton Keynes, this role requires initiative, autonomy, and strong relationship-building skills. We are committed to investing in ongoing professional development and career progression, offering opportunities to grow your expertise and leadership within a developing service.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working within an Independent Fostering Agency or similar setting (minimum 2-year experience)
  • Relevant social work qualifications (see Job Description for details)
  • Commitment to a full-time role
  • A strong track record or commitment to the recruitment and retention of foster families (see Job Description for further details)
