Applications Engineer (Electronics/Tech Support)
Are you an Electronic Engineer with experience in industrial automation, electronics commissioning, electronics technical support and knowledge of drives, motors, soft starters, or control systems? The role is based in a specialist electronic development team that manages end‑to‑end design, manufacturing and distribution of electrical products and systems. You will provide technical product support and insights to clients and contribute to product management and technical support functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to valued clients pre‑ and post‑sale.
- Develop technical proposals and deliver product training.
- Collaborate with Sales, Design, Development and Quality teams.
- Support sales and business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of electronics support, drives, motors, soft starters or control systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commutable from Plymouth, Ivybridge, Totnes, Torquay, Newton Abbot, Exeter and surrounding areas.
Compensation and Benefits
£40,000 – £46,000 annually, plus progression opportunities, strong autonomy, pension, private healthcare, life assurance and 33 days holiday.
