Overview
At Dell Technologies, our Field Service team is integral to providing seamless, responsive, and customer‑focused service. As a Field Service Engineer on our Product Services team, you will take your technical skills to customer sites, handling everything from installation and configuration to maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply your technical support expertise to resolve customer issues whilst working closely with peers and internal SMEs to increase knowledge and resolve customer issues.
- Identify and provide resolutions to technical problems.
- Use troubleshooting tools, content and analytical practices to help determine the best way to resolve identified and unidentified problems.
- Responsible for on‑site installation, configuration, implementation, integration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of company and multi‑vendor systems solutions, which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.
- Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters.
- Interpret customers’ needs and clarify if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps or engineers.
