About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Deputy Manager to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support and care for our young people and be responsible for a small staff team.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the small staff team, ensuring effective line management and shift pattern administration on a rota basis. Oversee the implementation of care and independence programmes for the young people. Communicate essential information to team members to support a collaborative working environment.
Qualifications
A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential, with willingness to study towards a Level 5 Diploma. Experience in residential childcare is required. Key characteristics include:
- Resilience – ability to support vulnerable children with varying emotional and behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD, and associated issues.
- Communication – clear communication with young people and teamwork with staff.
- Organisation – effective planning and management of care programmes and shift patterns.

Company Overview
We are a large nurturing home on the outskirts of March caring for four young people between the ages of 11 and 18 with emotional and behavioural needs. Our young people are supported at the home and in the community, encouraged to undertake activities and hobbies to build confidence and belonging.
