About the Role
Lecturer in English Literature – part‑time (0.8 FTE), permanent. Responsibilities include teaching A level English Literature, supporting learners to achieve their full potential and contributing to curriculum development.
Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with OCR requirements; provide pastoral and academic support; collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practice.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in English Literature
- Strong knowledge of A‑level English Literature
- Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills
- A commitment to inclusive, learner‑focused teaching
- Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
