Service Department Coster
Prentice Portadown is seeking a highly organised and detail-focusedService Department Costerto join our busy Aftersales team.

SalaryCompetitive salary: OTE £35,000 dependent on experience.
The Role
As a Service Department Coster, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of service and repair documentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Accurately costing
Retail, warranty and internal repair orders
in line with manufacturer and company guidelines.
Managing and maintaining
Work in Progress (WIP)
to ensure repair orders are processed efficiently and completed within required timescales.
Preparing clear, accurate and professional customer invoices, ensuring all work carried out is presented in a concise and easy-to-understand format.
Processing warranty claims and ensuring supporting documentation is complete and compliant.
Liaising with Service Advisors, Technicians and the Parts Department to resolve queries and ensure repair orders are completed correctly.
Maintaining high levels of accuracy while working to deadlines in a busy Aftersales environment.
Supporting the wider Service team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience within the motor trade (essential).
Aftersales costing experience, ideally within a franchised dealership (preferred).
A sound understanding of warranty processes, retail invoicing and internal costing.
Experience managing Work in Progress (WIP).
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong IT and administrative skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and work accurately under pressure.
A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
