Responsibilities

Are you interested in helping to solve some of the environmental and social challenges affecting West Wales? Do you have an insight into and experience of GIS? Then this could be an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for somebody organised and willing to learn who will assist in the running of the West Wales Nutrient Management Boards (NMBs), the Stakeholder and Technical Groups. The role will involve supporting the NMB Programme Manager in exciting new approaches towards water stewardship, to protect some of our special areas of conservation containing our most precious habitats and species. This important role will support the regional response on nutrient management and the delivery of NMBs work. No background in nutrient management or ecology is necessary. Please note that a valid driving licence is required to meet the requirements of the role.

Temporary post until 31/03/2027 (any extension subject to funding).

Level

Level 2 – You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
