About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a CCTV Security Systems Engineer to join our Asset & Technology Solutions (ATS) business, supporting projects across the South of England. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and support of a wide range of security systems, helping to ensure the safety and security of our sites. This includes working with temporary, rapid deployment and fixed solutions across multiple locations, where flexibility and travel are essential. You will play a key role in delivering high standards of service, ensuring systems are installed and maintained in line with industry standards and company expectations.
What you’ll be doing
- Install, maintain and repair CCTV systems in line with relevant standards and specifications
- Support the delivery and upkeep of intruder alarms, access control systems, door entry systems and other security technologies
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard
- Assist in maintaining excellent site security at all times
- Carry out delivery and collection of equipment and materials as required
- Implement risk assessments and method statements where necessary
- Identify and report unsafe acts, near misses and observations on site
- Stay up to date with current regulations, standards and industry best practice
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders across the business
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled individual with a strong background in security systems and a commitment to high-quality delivery.
You will have
- Proven experience working with CCTV systems, including IP CCTV
- Knowledge of intruder alarms, access control and door entry systems
- Relevant technical or trade qualifications in CCTV or security systems
- A good understanding of current industry standards and compliance requirements
- Experience working within accredited environments (e.g. BAFE, SSAIB or NSI) is desirable
- A valid Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- The ability to work independently and manage demanding workloads
- A collaborative approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
