The role
As a member of our team of social workers, you will have the opportunity to help vulnerable children and young people find a foster home that can transform their future. You will also supervise and advise foster carers, ensuring both carers and children receive the support they need to thrive.
- Visit homes and maintain regular contact with both carers and young people, serving as a safeguarding champion.
- Collaborate with specialist clinical teams to provide tailored support such as occupational therapy, art therapy, and trauma/attachment specialists.
- Ensure children and young people are safe, secure, and well looked after, maintaining high standards consistently.
- Inspire carers to grow in confidence and achieve their potential, making a significant impact on the children they care for.
Who we are looking for
You will be passionate about building life‑changing futures for children and supporting foster carers to be their best. You will hold a BA or MA in social work, be registered with the appropriate body, and possess a full driving licence. Prior experience working with young people who have a history of trauma and enhanced needs is required.
