About the role

Title: Carer

Pay rate: £15 per hour

Location: Canvey Island

We are looking for an individual who is fully flexible and able to work a minimum of 4 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Personal care – Assisting with showering, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming and morning and evening routines
• Running errands and transportation
• Health and Medication – Prompting or administering medication, managing prescriptions, and monitoring health conditions.
• Nutrition and Diet – Planning and preparing meals
• Light housekeeping
• One-to-one care
• Easing daily routines such as meals, activities and rest
• Social and Lifestyle support – Providing companionship to combat loneliness, accompanying to appointments, and assisting with shopping or errands.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the person

What we are looking for in a candidate

• Support and loyalty
• Understanding of safeguarding
• Preferred experience
• Flexibility
• Knowledge of how to cook meals
• Knowledge of light housekeeping
• Outstanding written and verbal communication
• Must live in the area
• Must have a driver’s license, vehicle and business insurance
