What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Registered Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Support Workers are appropriately allocated to deliver safe, timely and person‑centred support for the people we support.

Communication is a huge part of this role. You’ll work closely with the people we support, Support Workers, and members of the management team to ensure everyone has the information they need and that any changes are communicated promptly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating support visits across our supported living services using our rostering system.
  • Working alongside our experienced Support Coordinator to maintain accurate rotas and staffing information.
  • Ensuring Support Workers are appropriately allocated to provide excellent support that is safe, consistent and person‑centred.
  • Keeping colleagues informed of changes to schedules and responding to day‑to‑day operational queries.
  • Supporting Service Managers by ensuring they have accurate and up‑to‑date information to enable an effective on‑call service.
  • Using our systems to produce reports and provide information to support our management teams.

Working arrangements

This is a part‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term maternity cover role based at The Wellington Centre, Winchester Road, Andover, with flexibility to work from home on some days, subject to business needs.

Hours: 30 per week

Salary: £21,555.55 per annum

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your communication style when needed.
  • Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to think creatively and solve problems.
  • A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience of scheduling or coordinating staff.
  • Experience using rostering or workforce management systems.
  • Experience working within health and social care or another customer‑focused environment.
