Job Description:
We’re recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Anaerobic Digestion facility in East Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer who enjoys fault finding, equipment overhaul, preventative maintenance and improving plant reliability within a busy industrial environment.
Key Experience Required
- Mechanical maintenance within industrial, process, or manufacturing environments
- Pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and hydraulic systems
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive breakdown support and fault diagnosis
- Equipment overhaul and repair
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Anaerobic Digestion (AD)
- Recycling
- Utilities
- Manufacturing
- Welding & Fabrication
- Basic electrical fault finding
The Role
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Maintaining critical process equipment
- Supporting shutdowns and plant upgrades
- Working on pumps, conveyors, agitators, and feedstock handling systems
