We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to take ownership of multiple installation and maintenance projects from pre-contract stage through to final account.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong commercial awareness, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installation and maintenance projects from inception to completion
• Undertake site surveys, contract reviews, estimating, and quotation preparation
• Coordinate project delivery, resources, subcontractors, and site teams
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, RAMS, and CDM requirements
• Control project costs, variations, and commercial performance
• Attend client meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Produce accurate project reporting and contribute to resource planning

About You

Essential:

• Proven experience in mechanical contracting and project management
• Strong commercial and cost‑control awareness
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities
• A proactive approach to project delivery and client satisfaction

Desirable:

• Engineering qualification
• SMSTS and/or IOSH certification
