UI /Front End Developer

Role Overview

As a UI Developer, you will design, develop and improve software utilising various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high‑quality software solutions using industry‑aligned programming languages, frameworks and tools, ensuring scalability, maintainability and performance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product managers, designers and engineers to define requirements, devise solution strategies and ensure seamless integration aligned with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends, contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster technical excellence and growth.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
• Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions; lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives and coach employees toward those objectives.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience in responsive and accessible design.
• Experience in performance optimisation.
• Design system experience.
• Animation and micro‑interactions experience.
• Backend integration knowledge.
• Strong programming skills in relevant languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
