Salary: £25,185 – £28,142 pro rata

Hours: 20 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only) – Five mornings per week, 8:30am – 12:30pm.

Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2026 (subject to external funding); renewal required from 3 September 2026.

Role

SEN 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant

Supporting a KS2 child in our primary school environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently engage pupils in quality learning.
• Liaise closely with the SENCo and class teacher.
• Work within a friendly, caring and supportive team.
• Support the child’s learning and development in a safe and inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with pupils, ideally with neurodiverse SEND children.
• Sense of humour and enjoyment of working within a team.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adopt school procedures and principles.
