Job Title: Senior Power Electronic Design Engineer

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 per annum

Exceptional Senior Power Electronic Design Engineer wanted! The aim of the role is to create new design concepts to solve customer challenges and deliver products into production.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of high‑power switch mode power supplies (SMPS).
• Experience in developing, capturing, and reviewing system‑level power requirements.
• Power supply magnetics design experience, including planar magnetics design.
• Schematic capture and deep understanding of PCB layout.
• Manufacturing techniques, processes, and mechanical assembly understanding.
• Design calculations and ability to produce or assist in technical specifications, drawings, reports, instructions, and testing.
• Experience of documentation to support verification and compliance.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and MRP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

In your current role, you might be a SMPS design engineer, PSU design engineer, power electronics engineer or electronics engineer with a bias towards power electronics.
