Senior Electrical Designer

Job Overview

Location: Manchester Office Based or RemoteWork Pattern: 8am-4pm Mon-Fri, adhoc office/FAT/site visits requiredSector: WaterProject: Various FrameworksRole details: Senior EC&I Designer reporting to project lead engineers

Responsibilities

• Providing safe, practical and economic designs for clients to a high standard of professional competence and in compliance with Company procedures
• Producing drawing office deliverables including but not limited to SLDs, Cable Schedules, Material Take Offs, BCDs, Schematics, Equipment and Cable Routing Layouts, P&IDs, System Architecture diagrams
• Checking of drawings in accordance with Company Procedures
• Liaising with other disciplines as required

Qualifications

• ONC/Ond/HNC/HND or equivalent qualification
• Good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the discipline across relevant sector
• 10+ years engineering experience in the relevant or similar sectors
• Proficient in CAD
• Knowledge of UK legislation and standards
