Chesterfield Borough Council is seeking an operations manager to join our cultural venues team to launch our new theatre and museum venue, 1435. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the operation of some of the town’s most valued public buildings, including 1435 and the Winding Wheel Theatre.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the building management and the technical delivery of all events at the cultural venues is carried out to an excellent standard.
- Ensure all venues comply with all health and safety requirements.
- Develop and introduce the operational procedures for the re-opening and operation of 1435.
- Lead the theatre technical team and caretaking team.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of premises management, facilities maintenance, health and safety.
- Experience operating multi-site venues with different functionalities.
- Proven management experience leading technical and caretaking teams.
