Role Overview

The Revenue Manager will lead route‑level revenue performance initiatives, guiding a team to deliver revenue targets by applying commercial insights and strategic pricing. The role balances operational management with analytical problem‑solving, contributing to broader industry and company projects to support revenue growth and reform initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in revenue management, pricing, or yield management with demonstrated commercial success
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data insights into revenue‑generating actions
  • Experience within rail, transport, or similar revenue management environments
  • Ability to coach and develop analysts or junior team members
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator, capable of presenting insights to senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working within a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Own passenger revenue performance for a designated rail route or region
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts, providing coaching and mentorship
  • Manage day‑to‑day pricing and fare optimization decisions
  • Collaborate with wider commercial teams to support revenue initiatives
  • Analyze data and market performance to inform strategic commercial actions
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving revenue performance and pricing reforms
  • Support broader rail industry and commercial transformation efforts

Requirements

  • Experience in a revenue management, pricing, or yield management role with measurable commercial outcomes
  • Experience working within rail, transport, or a comparable regulated environment
  • Strong analytical skills, including intermediate Excel capability
  • Demonstrable ability to work towards revenue targets in a dynamic setting
  • Right to work in the UK and based in London or willing to work hybrid

  • Previous people management or team leadership experience
