Shift Pattern: Work Shift: Nights – 14:00 to midnight (including weekends)

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy into action: Plan and execute trading activity on the shopfloor during the twilight shift, ensuring great availability standards and key metrics and KRAs through routine and process.
• Lead with impact: Lead and coach colleagues and team leaders to deliver excellent shopfloor standards while fostering a culture of selling with personality, serving with heart and pride, and encouraging customers to add more items to their baskets.
• Execution-focused: Ensure the shopfloor is landed and presentable for customers before handing over to the night team.
• Talent Development: Listen with empathy, drive resilience, encourage ownership, focus and passion for the business, bring the “Asdaness” to work daily, and support the development of the team in an environment where people feel valued, trusted, and motivated to step up.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands‑on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of twilight shifts, including weekends.
