Role Description The Clinical Lead is a full-time, on-site role based at our Sunbury-On-Thames location, responsible for overseeing the clinical standards of care within the service. This role includes leading and supporting the care team, providing clinical guidance, and ensuring care plans are safe, evidence-based, and tailored to each resident’s needs. The Clinical Lead will conduct assessments, supervise medication management, monitor clinical outcomes, and liaise with external healthcare professionals. Daily responsibilities also involve mentoring team members, coordinating training, contributing to audits and service improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Clinical expertise relevant to older adult care, with the ability to provide safe, evidence-based clinical decisions.
  • Experience in training and mentoring care staff, including delivering clinical updates and supporting continuous learning.
  • Relevant professional registration (e.g., nurse or allied health professional) and appropriate clinical qualifications.
  • Experience in residential or retirement living care settings and knowledge of UK care regulations and standards.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple clinical priorities.
  • Commitment to person-centered care, safeguarding, and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in practice.
