4YP are seeking to appoint a full-time Children and Young People’s (CYP) Manager to lead and deliver high-quality support for young people aged 7‑25.
This is an exciting leadership role where you’ll shape the direction and impact of our CYP services, helping ensure that children and young people can access safe, meaningful support that really makes a difference in their lives.
As a member of the Strategic Leadership Team (SLT), you will be responsible for the planning, resourcing, leadership and evaluation of a programme of activity for children, young people and young adults (CYP) that fulfils the vision and mission of the charity.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and oversee high-quality CYP services, ensuring they are safe, engaging and responsive to need.
- Build positive relationships with young people while supporting and developing CYP practitioners to deliver effective, needs‑led support.
- Work collaboratively with partners and use evidence to demonstrate impact and strengthen outcomes for young people.
- Show strong experience of working with young people and the ability to build trusted relationships through effective communication, leading inclusive services that deliver real impact.
What you will need
- Proven experience of working in a similar role directly with young people.
- Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating youth work programmes.
- Experience of line management or supervising staff/volunteers.
- A recognised qualification in Youth Work, Community Development, Social Work or a related field (e.g., JNC Level 3‑6 Youth work).
