Job Summary
We are looking for an Electronics Engineer with a broad interest in a wide range of disciplines. The role requires troubleshooting equipment issues, providing technical support, and leading equipment installations, improvements, and projects within a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for silicon wafer processing equipment, package and test, addressing underlying equipment issues promptly.
• Lead and participate in equipment installations, improvements, and projects, ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met.
• Perform complex preventive maintenance activities and lead cross‑functional teams, recording actions and minutes of meetings on complex issues as they arise.
• Produce risk assessments for all equipment, review contractor method statements and risk assessments, and issue permits to work.
• Conduct all required documentation and training for new equipment and modifications.
Work in a cleanroom (three clean areas) requiring full gowning and the use of a Self‑Contained Breathing Apparatus after medical clearance and training. Cleanroom rules: no makeup, non‑smokers preferred, and no smoking for 4 hrs prior to entry.
Double‑day shift: 06:00 to 14:00 / 13:30 to 21:30.
Requirements
- Minimum of an HNC in electronics.
- Previous experience in a multidisciplined role with a strong electronics skill set.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
