Job Overview
As an Associate AI Platforms Engineer, you will support the rollout and day‑to‑day administration of enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft 365 Copilot. The role focuses on pilots, user onboarding, training, documentation, and continuous improvement of the platforms across a multi‑region environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the rollout of AI platforms, including pilot waves, user onboarding, and post‑deployment support.
- Carry out day‑to‑day administration tasks—licensing, basic configuration, user provisioning, and routine troubleshooting.
- Prepare and deliver training materials, lunch‑and‑learn sessions, and office hours to help colleagues use the systems.
- Maintain documentation, FAQs, and internal knowledge content for the AI platforms.
- Collect and present adoption and usage data to monitor effectiveness.
- Triage user questions and platform issues, escalating to senior team members or specialised teams when needed.
- Work with the Information Protection team to improve content readiness for platforms (e.g., sensitivity labels and access hygiene).
- Support early users of the Snowflake‑based advanced AI platform (Cortex Code, Cortex Agents).
- Keep up with platform roadmaps and bring useful new features to the team’s attention.
- Build small low‑code solutions to solve practical problems.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in IT, platform engineering, technology operations, or enterprise SaaS administration.
- Hands‑on experience administering the Microsoft 365 environment (Admin Centres, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, licensing, user provisioning, configuration).
- Prior experience as the named admin for a team, function, or enterprise tenant is strongly preferred.
- Power user of enterprise AI tools; daily user of Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent.
- Practical knowledge of AI governance and adoption in large organisations, including content readiness, access hygiene, sensitivity labelling, and responsible AI use.
- Experience contributing to a technology rollout or adoption programme (pilots, onboarding, training, post‑deployment support).
- General awareness of Microsoft enterprise technology (Entra ID, Purview) and integration of IT, Security, and Information Protection.
- Experience with Low‑Code platforms (Quickbase, Power Apps, Power Automate, Mendix, OutSystems, Appian) is a plus.
- Experience with other enterprise platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday) is a plus.
- Awareness of AI regulation (e.g., EU AI Act) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
- Ability to plan and run user‑facing enablement activity (training, demos, office hours) to a professional standard.
- Pragmatic delivery skills—plan, execute, and report back without close supervision.
- Hands‑on use of AI tools (prompt craft, model selection) and curiosity to learn fast.
- Collaborative style and comfort partnering with senior colleagues across IT, Security, Information Protection, HR, and Legal.
- Analytical mindset and ability to work with adoption data.
- Hands‑on experience with Python, SQL, and AI‑assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) is a plus.
- Education: a degree, apprenticeship, or relevant experience in computer science, information systems, business technology, or related discipline.
- Certifications are not required; Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals (AB‑900) and Power Platform Fundamentals (PL‑900) are welcomed.
