We are seeking a passionate and engaging Health & Safety Instructor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who believes that effective training goes beyond slides and theory—focusing instead on practical, hands‑on learning experiences that truly change behaviours and improve safety outcomes.

You will design and deliver dynamic training sessions that actively involve learners, promote collaboration, and ensure knowledge is retained and applied in real‑world situations.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver engaging Health & Safety training programmes using a hands‑on, practical approach
  • Facilitate learning through interactive workshops, simulations, and real‑life scenarios
  • Encourage active participation by involving learners in discussions, problem‑solving, and group activities
  • Design, develop, and deliver a wide range of health and safety training courses in line with the key risk exposures faced by our business operations.
  • Deliver training courses at our brand‑new state of the art training academy and around the branch network.
  • Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure training is relevant, practical, and aligned to business needs.
  • Promote a positive safety culture by making training engaging, relatable, and memorable

About you:

  • Proven experience delivering health & safety related training or instruction
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and different learning styles
  • A natural ability to engage, motivate, and involve people
  • Experience using practical, hands‑on teaching methods rather than purely classroom‑based approaches
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • A dynamic and enthusiastic approach to training, with a genuine passion for inspiring others.
  • Proficiency in using various training technologies and software.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across GB.
  • Experience delivering driver‑related training within the commercial vehicle sector
  • Relevant health & safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Training or instructional qualifications
