About the role

Location: Coventry City Centre.

Our need: Immediate starters.

Salary: £26,300. Hours: Full Time.

Responsibilities

  • Making energy easy – cutting through jargon to help customers understand their bills, meters and tariffs.
  • Solving problems like a pro – addressing billing queries, meter issues and complex energy conundrums quickly.
  • End‑to‑end service – handling queries from start to finish, including complaints, ensuring customers get the right help the first time.
  • Thinking on your feet – engaging in real conversations with no scripts or robotic responses.
  • Treat every customer with care – warmth, kindness and going the extra mile.
  • Making a difference – helping customers with energy bills and advising on greener choices.
  • Living for great customer service – enjoying the satisfaction of making customers’ day better.
  • Ask questions and embrace change – staying curious and willing to learn fast.

Selection process

The process generally takes up to four weeks but we strive to be flexible.

  1. First stage interview – you can speak directly with a team member or record your responses to pre‑set questions at a time that suits you.
  2. Prep call – after the first interview, a Talent Team member will give you an overview of what you need to know for the next stage, the OctoPalooza.
  3. OctoPalooza event – an opportunity to meet potential colleagues and participate in activities such as group exercises, role plays, and one‑on‑one interviews.
