About The Role
Balfour Beatty is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our Regional Build team delivering a key Headhouse Project as part of the HS2 programme in Warwick. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects, helping to deliver world‑class engineering and construction solutions.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of site operations, ensuring works are completed to programme, budget, and the highest standards of quality.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage day‑to‑day site activities and construction operations.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour teams.
- Ensure all works are delivered safely and in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor progress against programme and proactively manage risks and issues.
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance and compliance.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, planners, commercial teams, and project management.
- Conduct site inspections, briefings, and progress meetings.
- Support the successful delivery of project milestones and client requirements.
Who we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on major infrastructure, civil engineering, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts and coordinate diverse teams.
- Experience working with NEC contracts and major project delivery environments is desirable.
- SMSTS qualification.
- CSCS Manager Card.
- First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).
