As NHS Business Development Director, you will be accountable for building, managing and converting senior NHS relationships into sustainable commercial partnerships. Working directly with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS Trusts and other key stakeholders, you will drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new contracts and the expansion of existing agreements across CHEC’s services.You will act as one of the external representatives of CHEC, building relationships with executive-level decision makers and positioning us as the partner of choice for improving patient access, reducing waiting times and delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
Main duties of the job
Developing and executing CHEC’s NHS commercial growth strategy.Building and managing a high-value pipeline of opportunities across ICBs and NHS Trusts.Leading Indicative Activity Plan (IAP) negotiations and contract expansion opportunities.Identifying new partnership opportunities across multiple specialities, including Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology and ENT.Supporting market analysis and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.Building influential relationships with ICB Directors, NHS Trust Executives, Commissioners and Clinical Leaders.Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to NHS stakeholders.Developing a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy across active and target NHS accounts.Owning the NHS commercial pipeline, forecasting and order book.Working with Finance to ensure strong commercial returns and sustainable contract performance.Contributing to the wider commercial leadership agenda and helping shape CHEC’s future growth strategy
