Painter & Decorator

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Painter & Decorator to join the Maintenance team at THE NICI New Forest in Lymington.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating works across guest bedrooms, public areas, restaurants, bars, spa facilities, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Prepare surfaces, including filling, sanding, stripping, and priming before decorating.
• Complete both planned refurbishment work and reactive repairs to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and with minimal disruption to guests.
• Maintain decorating equipment, tools, and materials in good condition.
• Work closely with the Maintenance team to support wider property upkeep.
• Report any maintenance issues identified while carrying out decorating works.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Maintain the high presentation standards expected throughout THE NICI Collection.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator, ideally within hotels, hospitality, or commercial properties.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Good knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation.
• Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive in your approach.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to support the wider Maintenance team when required.
