Salary and Benefits
The salary range for Social Workers who have successfully completed their ASYE is £48,633 – 51,624 per annum, inclusive of a market supplement of £5,000. In addition, we offer a financial package of up to £6,000 payable in three instalments across the first 18 months in post.

About the Role
You will work as a Social Worker within our Adolescent Service based in Weybridge, supporting young people who are vulnerable to exploitation, gang culture, or other safeguarding risks. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Youth Justice, Missing, Edge of Care, Rapid Response, Intervention Support, Risk and Intelligence, and Youth Offer, as well as partners from education, health, police and other agencies.
Responsibilities
- Support adolescents at risk of exploitation, gang culture, or other safeguarding risks
- Build and maintain relationships with families, young people and partnership agencies
- Conduct assessments, write quality assessments and develop contextual plans
- Deliver interventions and undertake court work when required
- Contribute to safeguarding strategies and attend multi‑agency meetings
- Promote and advocate for the wellbeing of adolescents within the community
Qualifications
- Qualified Social Work degree and SWE registration
- Completed ASYE within two years of qualifying
- Minimum one year UK frontline social work experience
- Demonstrable skills in supporting adolescents at risk of exploitation, gang culture or contextual safeguarding risks
- Experience or willingness to learn about working with young people and an understanding of risk factors for adolescents
- Capable of working with professionalism and empathy
- Ability to write high quality assessments, implement contextual plans, deliver interventions and undertake court work if required
- Valid UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel across a wide geographical area
