SEND Teaching Assistant Full Time Immediate Start

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join this outstanding team. Whether you’re looking for day‑to‑day flexibility or a long‑term role, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Work alongside teachers and other professionals to implement individual learning and communication plans
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Support pupils with personal care, mobility, and emotional regulation as needed
- Encourage independence and positive behaviour through consistent routines and structure
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills are essential both verbal and non‑verbal
- Experience working with SEND students or within a special school setting is desirable but not essential
- A caring, patient, and resilient nature
- Full‑time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:30am 3:30pm)
- A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
