Registered Nurse – Hospice in Your Home

Basic annual salary: £32,666 (based on 36 hours per week, excluding enhancement for Night, Weekend and Bank Holiday working)

Working hours: 18–36 hours per week, over two–four 9‑hour shifts, across a 7‑day/3‑shift roster (early 7:00 am‑4:00 pm, late 1:00 pm‑10:00 pm, night 10:00 pm‑7:00 am)

Holiday & benefits: 5 weeks holiday pay plus Bank Holidays, £45p per mile mileage allowance, pension scheme, staff referral scheme (earn up to £500), comprehensive training, Employee Assistance Programme (including private GP access), Bluelight Card discount, free DBS check, uniform provided

Role overview: You will work within a supportive multi-disciplinary team in a professional service, making a real difference to the lives of patients and their families. You do not need palliative care experience, as a comprehensive induction package is provided.

Service description: Our Hospice in Your Home Team provides planned 1:1 care and a roaming service to people in their own homes. The successful postholder will work shifts across the week, including weekends and bank holidays, on a planned rota basis.

Required qualifications & experience: Registered Adults Nurse with post‑registration experience, knowledge and skills to deliver generic palliative care in the community; full UK driving licence and vehicle access.

Additional requirements: The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. Nottinghamshire Hospice is a non‑smoking organisation.
