Role Overview

Senior Digital Engineer

Location: Babcock Technology Centre or Birchwood, Warrington sites.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week with hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital engineering delivery, ensuring high-quality information management, robust data processes and effective digital collaboration across complex engineering programmes.
• Influence standards and support the wider engineering community, contributing to innovative solutions for national infrastructure and security.
• Manage and oversee digital engineering data environments, including Autodesk Vault systems.
• Deliver high-quality asset data, digital models and engineering information outputs across projects.
• Implement digital engineering standards, clash detection processes and design coordination rules.
• Review and approve models, drawings and deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support project teams, contribute to bids and tenders, and provide technical guidance to digital engineering colleagues.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Demonstrable experience delivering complex 3D computer-aided design projects.
• Strong data management and information governance experience within engineering environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining engineering procedures, standards and processes.
• Proven expertise using Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.
• Experience working within highly regulated sectors such as nuclear, defence, aerospace or similarly complex industries.
• Qualified by experience with significant digital engineering and computer-aided design expertise.
• Must be a sole UK National able to achieve and maintain a Security Check (SC) clearance.
