Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for automotive lighting control units.
- Implement automated test scripts and frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Perform functional, regression, and safety (ISO26262) testing, including CAN‑bus communication validation.
- Analyse test results, log defects, and work closely with hardware and software teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability to requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience testing automotive lighting systems or related electronic control units.
- Strong knowledge of CAN bus protocols and test equipment.
- Hands‑on experience with test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, C++).
- Understanding of functional safety standards, particularly ISO26262.
- Ability to work on-site in the UK and collaborate with distributed project teams.
