An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking plastics manufacturer in Sheffield. With recent investment into three new production lines and continued expansion plans, the company is now strengthening its maintenance team – offering real progression into leadership roles.
The Opportunity
This is a technically varied, hands‑on role within a modern manufacturing environment, where you’ll work across both electrical and mechanical systems. You’ll be joining a business that actively invests in its people, offering training and development to help you become a fully multi‑skilled engineer.
The Role
- Carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Support ongoing improvements across new and existing production lines
- Work within a days‑based team, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
- Optional overtime available to significantly boost earnings
The Person
- Electrically qualified
- Experience in maintenance or service (mechanical and/or electrical)
- Open to engineers from any background – manufacturing experience not essential
- Keen to learn, develop and progress within a growing business
