Duties

  • Leading and motivating a team of 6-7 vehicle technicians, 3 service advisors, and 2 workshop controllers
  • Overseeing daily operations of the aftersales department to ensure efficiency and high customer satisfaction
  • Managing workshop utilisation, labour sales, and service processes
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards
  • Supporting colleagues through training, development, and performance management
  • Implementing policies to improve workshop productivity and customer experience
  • Ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety protocols and operational guidelines

Requirements

  • Recent or current experience managing medium to large franchise-approved car dealership aftersales/services departments
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organisational and IT literacy skills
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ability to commute to Cheltenham or willingness to relocate, with relocation support available for the right individual
  • Proactive approach with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational improvement
