Duties
- Leading and motivating a team of 6-7 vehicle technicians, 3 service advisors, and 2 workshop controllers
- Overseeing daily operations of the aftersales department to ensure efficiency and high customer satisfaction
- Managing workshop utilisation, labour sales, and service processes
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards
- Supporting colleagues through training, development, and performance management
- Implementing policies to improve workshop productivity and customer experience
- Ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety protocols and operational guidelines
Requirements
- Recent or current experience managing medium to large franchise-approved car dealership aftersales/services departments
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and IT literacy skills
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Ability to commute to Cheltenham or willingness to relocate, with relocation support available for the right individual
- Proactive approach with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational improvement
