HGV Class 2 Driver – Home delivery / Barton

Position Summary

HGV Class 2 Driver – Home Delivery (Barton‑upon‑Humber).

Temporary‑to‑permanent. Pay £16.75 per hour (£41,808 per annum for a 48‑hour week) plus a potential quarterly bonus of up to £750. A £200 completion bonus is offered after 13 weeks. Overtime is compensated on a sixth shift only.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver kitchens to customers within the specified time window.
• Work as part of a two‑person crew.
• Properly scan all products and record deliveries.
• Make customer phone calls with estimated arrival times.
• Deliver items to the customer’s chosen room.
• Report any parking difficulties or issues to delivery support or the transport office.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to health and safety compliance.
• Start shifts between 4:00 and 6:00 a.m. and keep good timekeeping.

Qualifications & Requirements

• HGV Class 2 licence.
• DBS check required.
• No prior experience required; newly qualified drivers are welcomed.
• Ability to work up to 12‑hour shifts with an average of 48 hours per week.
• Own transport to commence early shift times.
