Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher – Cardiff | September 2026 (WELSHTEA1) Cardiff, Wales

Welsh-speaking primary teachers are needed for flexible and rewarding teaching opportunities across Cardiff and surrounding areas. We are recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to work across a range of Welsh-medium and bilingual primary schools. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and ongoing roles.

Role

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across primary year groups
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Support pupil progress and wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
• EWC registered or willing to obtain registration
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting (placements welcomed for ECTs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for supporting and inspiring young learners
